![]() The only, ONLY other thing I can think is contributing to this is Parallels. I clean out my Spotify cache even though I barely use it on this machine. Where did it all go? No idea! I haven't done anything but browse Safari (cleared all data) and used Office. I had 30GB free maybe a week ago, now I have 5GB. I've cleared my GarageBand sound library, I clear out all local storage of my work OneDrive on a daily basis. I have tried Clean My Mac X, Buho Cleaner, I've wiped the cache in every application I use. So I'm looking at 145GB of my 251GB of usable space locked out from me.Īnd let me tell you, I have tried everything to reduce this. No, not the MacOS install, that's a separate 21GB. ![]() My machine only has 256GB of SSD (which should be more than fine for my needs) but I'm currently sitting at 124GB of "System Data". It's an amazing machine.īut good god does MacOS drive me mental sometimes. The battery lasts for multiple work days. I don't think I've ever been able to get the fan running no matter what I throw at it. I love how pretentious and stupid the limited IO is. I love my 13" M1 MBP Pro, I adore the ridiculous Jony Ive-ness design of it all.
